Course Highlights

Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER

Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER

Twice during the race, just after the 19 km and 36 km marks, the course runs along Sakura-dori, one of Nagoya's main boulevards, with the iconic Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER rising beside you. Passing the tower at close range is one of the course's most memorable moments.

Aichi Prefectural Government Office and Nagoya City Hall

A Contrast of Historic and Modern Architecture

Between 27 km and 28 km (and again between 33 km and 34 km on the return), runners pass a succession of striking landmarks: the Aichi Prefectural Government Office and Nagoya City Hall, both designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan, followed by the IG Arena, Nagoya's new arena, completed in 2025.

Nagoya Castle

Nagoya Castle

At around the 26 km mark, Nagoya Castle, the city's most iconic landmark, comes into view. If you're hoping to capture a memorable race photo with the castle in the background, the 35 km mark on the return leg offers the perfect opportunity.
